Between 2023 and 2025, Google, Meta, and Microsoft added more than 72,000 net roles across these markets. NVIDIA, OpenAI, and Anthropic added around 12,700.

But the real divide is speed:

Established giants grew 24%

AI leaders grew 76.5%

Geography is fragmenting.

Ireland and the Netherlands are emerging as high-velocity European hubs.

Germany is stabilizing and returning to growth.

Switzerland remains modestly positive, anchoring high-value roles through specialization rather than scale.

The United Kingdom is retrenching.

The global tech footprint isn’t expanding evenly.

It’s consolidating into defined roles.
